Recreativo name Munoz as new coach
MADRID, July 4 (Reuters) - Former Panathinaikos coach Victor Munoz has been named as the new coach of Primera Liga side Recreativo Huelva.
The 50-year-old ex-Barcelona player will take over from previous boss Marcelino who left the club for Racing Santander at the end of last season after leading the Andalucians to an impressive eighth-place finish on their return to the top flight.
Munoz had a brief spell in charge of Panathinaikos last season.
He took charge of the club in October 2006 but was dismissed after the club finished a distant third in the Super League and were defeated in the Greek Cup final by unfancied Larissa.
Munoz, who has also coached Villarreal, led Real Zaragoza to triumph in the 2004 King's Cup.
