Torino sack Zaccheroni, bring back De Biasi
ROME, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Serie A strugglers Torino have sacked coach Alberto Zaccheroni and recalled Gianni De Biasi to take his place, the club announced on Monday.
Zaccheroni was dismissed after the team slumped to their sixth successive league defeat on Saturday, a 3-0 loss at Chievo Verona that left them two points above the relegation zone in 16th place.
De Biasi guided Torino to promotion from Serie B last season.
He was sacked a few days before the start of the new campaign to make way for Zaccheroni, whose career highlights include winning the 1999 Serie A title with AC Milan plus stints with Inter Milan and Lazio.
