Blackburn have reaffirmed their commitment to use part of the new television cash to reduce ticket prices for next season.
Simon Williams, head of sales and marketing said: 'We will be investing some of this money in our supporters in the form of price reductions for season ticket holders and on matchdays.
'As a club we are well aware that football faces a real issue in terms of affordability, and to continue to prosper, clubs need to show imagination to keep attracting fans.
'We believe passionately that the best way to enjoy Premiership football is watching it live in a stadium.
'However we also need to recognise the reasons why fans stay away from games.
'We have developed a marketing strategy which has been well thought out and prepared in order to attract more fans through the turnstiles.
'We have already introduced a number of initiatives this season including a loyalty card scheme, price reductions for selected Premiership matches and cheaper tickets for our European campaign.
'We will continue to look at imaginative ways to encourage fans to come to matches.'
