San Siro passed fit for spectators

ROME, Feb 10 (Reuters) - Spectators will be allowed into the San Siro stadium for Sunday's Serie A match between AC Milan and Livorno after emergency works brought it into line with security regulations.

News that Italy's most famous ground would be open to Milan's 37,000 season-ticket holders was announced on the club's Web site and came a few hours after play resumed in the country's second division Serie B.

All 11 Serie B matches -- six of which were played behind closed doors -- passed off peacefully.

Play in all the country's leagues was suspended a week last Friday after the death of policeman Filippo Raciti during rioting outside a Serie A match between Catania and Palermo.
