Two new faces in Belgium squad for Czech game

BRUSSELS, Jan 31 (Reuters) - Belgium coach Rene Vandereycken named two uncapped players in his 20-man squad on Wednesday for the friendly international against the Czech Republic on Feb. 7.

The Belgian coach has included midfielders Marouane Fellaini of Standard Liege and AZ Alkmaar's Maarten Martens in his plans for the first time.

Rangers midfielder Thomas Buffel was again overlooked while Anderlecht captain Bart Goor misses the game because he is injured.

Belgium currently lie in joint fourth spot in their Euro 2008 qualifying group with seven points from five games. The Czech Republic are joint top in their group on 10 points after four games.

Belgium squad:

Goalkeepers: Stijn Stijnen (Club Bruges), Brian Vandenbussche (Heerenveen)

Defenders: Mark De Man (Anderlecht), Carl Hoefkens (Stoke City), Daniel Van Buyten (Bayern Munich), Jelle Van Damme (Anderlecht), Anthony Vanden Borre (Anderlecht), Thomas Vermaelen (Ajax Amsterdam), Peter Van der Heyden (Wolfsburg)
