Nice chairman reinstated by shareholders
NICE, France, Jan 29 (Reuters) - Maurice Cohen, chairman of Ligue 1 strugglers Nice, has been reinstated five days after being forced to step down by shareholders.
One of those shareholders, Franck Guidicelli, announced on Monday that he would share the duties with Cohen.
'Mr Cohen will be in charge of the general policy of the club while I will take care of the sport's policy,' said Guidicelli.
Coach Frederic Antonetti would retain his job, he added.
Nice, who are 19th in the standings, put up a brave fight to hold leaders Olympique Lyon to a 1-1 draw at Gerland Stadium on Saturday.
