Sydney FC re-sign McFlynn and Middleby

Sydney FC midfielders Terry McFlynn and Robbie Middleby have signed new contracts with the club.

McFlynn signed a new three-year deal while Middleby will remain at the club for at least another two years.

The club announced the re-signings and said further player announcements would be made shortly.

"We're delighted to have secured the services of two quality players and individuals in Terry and Robbie who have proved themselves to be professionals both on and off the park," said chief executive George Perry.

"The road ahead for the club, commencing this weekend, is very exciting and we've been working hard behind the scenes to sign players who are a good fit for the club moving forward."

Sydney, which will represent the A-League in this year's Asians Champions League alongside Adelaide United, has eight other players off-contract.
