BERLIN, Jan 16 (Reuters) - Bayern Munich's Bosnian midfielder Hasan Salihamidzic will join Juventus on a free transfer at the end of the season, the German club said on Tuesday.
Salihamidzic, who has been at Bayern since 1998, will sign a four-year contract with the Italian Serie B side, who were demoted from the top flight because of a match-fixing scandal.
'I'm going to Juventus in the summer,' the 30-year-old told Kicker, in quotes carried on the Bayern website.
Salihamidzic will leave Bayern with an enviable set of medals. During his time at the club he has helped them win the Bundesliga title six times, the German Cup four times and the Champions League once, in 2001.
'It's been a great time in Munich,' he said.
Salihamidzic arrived in Germany in 1992, playing for Hamburg SV before making his move south.
At Bayern, he has played as a right back, winger and centre forward. In total he has made 292 Bundesliga appearances, including 15 this season, and scored 47 goals.
He was a regular for Bosnia before calling time on his international career in August 2006.
