Six month ban for unnamed player over drugs test
An unnamed footballer has been suspended for six months after a drugs test showed he had taken cocaine.
The player has been banned by the Football Association, who have a policy of not naming those who fail out-of-competition tests for 'social' drugs.
The player, who is not thought to be high-profile, tested positive for benzoylecgonine, a metabolite of cocaine.
A second footballer has been warned as to his future conduct after testing positive for marijuana.
