Pardew cleared of FA charge after Wenger spat
Charlton manager Alan Pardew has been cleared of improper conduct by the Football Association.
Pardew was charged for a touchline confrontation with Arsenal counterpart Arsene Wenger while still West Ham boss during the Hammers' victory at Upton Park on November 5.
Wenger was also charged last month and charged £10,000 for his part in the incident.
But an FA disciplinary commission found that the charge against Pardew 'was not proven'.
An 89th-minute strike from Marlon Harewood gave the Hammers a 1-0 win over Arsenal, sparking astonishing celebratory scenes from Pardew, who was subsequently shoved by an irate Wenger.
