Bendtner extends loan deal with Birmingham

Arsenal striker Nicklas Bendtner will remain on loan at Birmingham until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old had initially joined Blues until the opening of the transfer window in January and has so far scored 10 goals in all competitions for the Championship leaders.

Bendtner's decision to remain on the books at St Andrews will come as a relief to Birmingham manager Steve Bruce who feared he could lose the Danish international during January transfer trading.

Gunners colleagues Francis Muamba and Seb Larsson are also on loan at Blues after agreeing season-long deals.
