Sam insists that Campo stays at the Reebok

Bolton manager Sam Allardyce has had no offer for midfielder Ivan Campo from Athletic Bilbao.

The Trotters chief, responding to speculation in Spain that the 32-year-old could be returning to his homeland, insists Campo is going nowhere.

'We have had no enquiries from Athletic Bilbao or any other club for the services of Ivan Campo,' Allardyce told the club's website.

'Ivan signed a new contract in the summer and is happy at Bolton Wanderers and playing in England. The media have linked Ivan with a move back to the Basque Country because he is from that part of the world, but I can assure you he is staying in England with Bolton Wanderers.'
