Autuori returns for another stint at Cruzeiro
RIO DE JANEIRO, Dec 5 (Reuters) - Paulo Autuori is to return for a third stint as coach of Cruzeiro, where he won the South American Libertadores Cup in 1997, the club said Tuesday.
Cruzeiro said on their Web site that Autuori, currently in charge of Kashima Antlers, would join them as soon as the Japanese season had finished.
Autuori, who also won the Libertadores with Sao Paulo last year and coached Peru in the qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup, resigned immediately after winning the Libertadores. He returned for a second spell in 1999.
He will replace Oswaldo Oliveira, who announced his departure immediately after Cruzeiro completed their Brazilian championship campaign with a 3-1 win over Botafogo and finished a modest 10th in the table.
