Struggling Tenerife sack coach Krauss
MADRID, Dec 5 (Reuters) - Spanish second division side Tenerife have sacked coach Bernd Krauss after a poor run of form.
'I wasn't expecting it but a coach's position always depends on results. It's our life. It was very difficult with the team we had,' Krauss told radio Marca.
The German-born former Austria international, 49, has overseen a run where the side have taken just one point from the last 15. Tenerife are 19th in the 22-team division.
Krauss has coached a number of sides including Real Sociedad, Real Mallorca, Borussia Dortmund, Borussia Moenchengladbach and Greek side Aris Salonika.
