Brazilian coach to leave J-League side
TOKYO, Nov 30 (Reuters) - Brazilian Paulo Autuori will step down as manager of Kashima Antlers at the end of the season, the J-League club said on Thursday.
The 50-year-old took over from fellow Brazilian Toninho Cerezo after guiding Sao Paulo to victory over Liverpool in the FIFA Club World Cup last December.
Autuori's Kashima were beaten finalists in this season's J-League Cup but they have failed to mount a serious challenge in the Japanese championship race.
Talks over a new contract recently broke down, prompting Autuori's decision to move on.
