Pachuca through to Copa Sudamericana final

MEXICO CITY, Nov 23 (Reuters) - Pachuca scored four goals in the last half hour as they routed Brazil's Atletico Paranaense 4-1 on Wednesday to reach the Copa Sudamericana final.

The Mexican champions completed a 5-1 aggregate win to earn a place against Chile's Colo Colo in the final of the tournament, the region's equivalent of the UEFA Cup.

Pachuca, who won last week's first leg in Brazil 1-0, dominated the first half and has a goal by Argentine midfielder Christian Gimenez ruled out for offside.

But the Brazilians went ahead against the run of play just before halftime when Jancarlos found Colombian striker David Ferreira, who fired the opener with a right-foot shot.

Gimenez levelled on the hour when he converted a penalty, headed the second from a corner five minutes later and then suffered a foul which led to Paranaense's Jancarlos being sent off in the 66th minute.

Gimenez's compatariot Damian Alvarez made it 3-1 in the 76th minute, shortly after coming on as a substitute, and Juan Carlos Cacho completed the scoring.
