SINGAPORE, Nov 20 (Reuters) - Italian Serie A leaders Inter Milan have agreed to play a friendly against the Bahrain national team early next year, the Asian Football Confederation has said.
The match will be part of a 10-day Bahrain Football Festival which will be staged from Jan. 1-10.
A top Inter official said the team would be staying in the Bahraini capital Manama for a week, the AFC said on its website.
Bahrain coach Hans-Peter Briegel said the Inter match would help his team prepare for the Gulf Cup which will be played later in January.
'For us it will be a good preparation... I'm sure we will get a lot from it.'
