Carbone signs short-term deal with Sydney FC

SYDNEY, Sept 28 (Reuters) - Italian forward Benito Carbone has signed a four-week guest contract to play for Sydney FC, the A-League club said on their website on Thursday.

The 35-year-old former Inter Milan, Sheffield Wednesday and Middlesbrough player will make his debut against Adelaide United on Monday.

Carbone is a short-term replacement for Trinidad & Tobago striker Dwight Yorke, who left Sydney last month to return to England with Sunderland.
