New dad Ruud ready to line up for Real

MADRID, Sept 26 (Reuters) - Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy returned to the Real Madrid squad to face Dynamo Kiev in the Champions League, after becoming a father.

His wife gave birth to a daughter in the early hours of the morning, Real said on their club Web site on Tuesday.

Real coach Fabio Capello had called up Brazilian striker Ronaldo on Monday evening as cover after Van Nistelrooy was given permission to be present at the birth.

Real and Dynamo lost their opening games in Group E to Olympique Lyon and Steaua Bucharest.
