Crystal Palace boss Peter Taylor admits he is facing 'a selection nightmare' - and urged his out-of-favour stars to be patient.
Recent £2.5million signing Shefki Kuqi has been left out of the starting line-up for the last two matches, while forward Dougie Freedman and defender Darren Ward have also spent much of the early season in the cold.
But with his team fifth in the Championship, Taylor feels the end more than justifies the means.
'Shefki is a bit frustrated, as is Dougie and as was Darren when he was out of the team,' Taylor said. 'But people have to get on with it.
'They know I care about them and I want everyone to stay happy, but it is very difficult when you have a squad of 21 or 22 players and only 11 can start.
'People have to count to 10 and show a bit of patience.'
