MADRID, Sept 22 (Reuters) - Sevilla's versatile midfielder Adriano Correia was able to celebrate a call-up to Dunga's Brazil squad with a new contract which keeps him at the Primera Liga club until 2012.
'I am delighted. On a personal level I am enjoying the best moments of my career and I would like to thank the club president and sports director who have stood by me,' Correia told the Sevilla Web site.
The 21-year-old, who can play either left back or left midfield, joined Sevilla from Coritiba in January 2005.
He was a key member of the Sevilla side who finished fifth in the Primera Liga and won the UEFA Cup last season.
Brazil coach Dunga named him in his squad on Thursday for the international friendlies against Ecuador and Kuwait next month.
Correia helped Brazil win the World Youth Championship in 2003 and was a member of the squad that won the Copa America in 2004.
