MADRID, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Equatorial Guinea striker Rodolfo Bodipo has torn the anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee, and is expected to be out for between six and eight months, his club Deportivo Coruna said on Thursday.
'I felt a crack and huge amount of pain. At least it is a clean break, it could have been much worse,' Bodipo was quoted as saying in sports daily AS.
The 28-year-old moved to Depor from relegated Alaves in June for a reported fee of €2million.
He joins Juan Carlos Valeron on Depor's long-term injury list, after the Spain international tore the cartilage and suffered a partial tear of his cruciate ligament in July.
Depor are fifth in the Primera Liga after three games.
