League Two: Wycombe move top as Swindon stutter

Tommy Mooney and Jonny Dixon scored the goals as Wycombe defeated Rochdale at Spotland to move to the top of League Two.

Veteran striker Mooney opened the scoring in the 16th minute, his fourth strike of the season, before Dixon drilled in a second in stoppage time.

Swindon lost their place at the summit after Trevor Benjamin scored the only goal of the game for Peterborough at the County Ground.

Walsall moved into third after goals from Hector Sam and Scott Dann ensured a 2-0 win at home to bottom club Macclesfield, while Lincoln dropped to fourth after losing 3-2 to MK Dons, with Jamie Forrester missing a penalty at Sincil Bank.

It was also 3-2 at Underhill as Notts County defeated Barnet. Ian Hendon's penalty and Jason Puncheon had put the hosts two goals up before Alan White, Andy Parkinson and Jason Lee turned things around for the visitors.

Torquay defeated Mansfield 1-0 thanks to Jamie Ward's winner at Plainmoor, while Shrewsbury eased past Hartlepool 3-0 after an own goal from Jon Daly and further strikes from Stuart Drummond and Michael Symes.

Darlington snatched a point against Bristol Rovers after Martin Smith's stoppage-time leveller after Lewis Haldane had opened the scoring, while Hereford defeated bury after Andrew Williams' late winner.

Andy Todd's late winner earned a 3-2 win for Accrington Stanley over Boston, while Gary Jones and Andy Taylor both scored in injury time for Grimsby's 2-0 win at Chester.

Meanwhile, Adam Le Fondre scored four goals as Stockport defeated Wrexham 5-2 at the Racecourse Ground.
