Dabo to serve suspension after appeal rejection
Manchester City's Ousmane Dabo will serve a three-match ban after his appeal over his sending-off against Reading was rejected by the Football Association.
The 29-year-old was shown a straight red card for serious foul play after being involved in an aerial challenge with Reading's Steve Sidwell during Monday night's 1-0 defeat at the Madejski Stadium.
It was City's second red card in just four games this season following Bernado Corradi's dismissal in the opening day defeat at Chelsea.
Dabo is now suspended for City's next three matches against Blackburn, Chesterfield in the Carling Cup and West Ham.
