Wales to face Ronaldinho in Brazil friendly

Ronaldinho will start for Brazil tomorrow when they take on Wales in an international friendly at White Hart Lane.

Brazil manager Dunga has confirmed the FIFA world player of the year will be in the starting line-up for the South Americans as they tackle their second match in the capital in the space of two days.

The Barcelona star did not appear in Sunday's 3-0 victory over Argentina at the Emirates Stadium but he will line up against the likes of Ryan Giggs and Craig Bellamy.

New coach Dunga has a full squad to choose from and Ronaldinho will join Kaka, Robinho and Gilberto.

Dunga said: 'Ronaldinho was disappointed not to be able to feature in the match against Argentina, but I am pleased to announce he is now fit and will play in tomorrow night's match against Wales.

'The Brazil football team has come to London - one of the footballing capitals of the world - to play great football, and Ronaldinho wants to be a part of that and will start tomorrow.'

David Collins, Football Association of Wales secretary general, said: 'We have assembled a fantastic squad, and it will be great to see the likes of Bellamy and Giggs going up against the might of Brazil - it is set to be a real showcase of their talents.'
