Lehmann nets UEFA goalkeeper award

Arsenal's Jens Lehmann has been voted the best goalkeeper in last season's Champions League.

The German was sent off in the final after bringing down Barcelona striker Samuel Eto'o just outside the box.

Lehmann was instrumental in the Gunners reaching the final however, saving a penalty from Juan Roman Riquelme of Villarreal in the semi-final second leg.

Barcelona tied up the rest of the awards with captain Carlos Puyol winning the Best Defender award, Portugese trickster Deco picking up the Best Midfielder and star striker Samuel Eto'o walking away with the Best Striker award.
