Ivory Coast midfielder Toure joins Monaco
MONACO, Aug 15 (Reuters) - Ivory Coast international midfielder Yaya Toure has joined AS Monaco from Olympiakos for a 4.5 million euros fee, the Ligue 1 club announced on Tuesday.
The 23-year-old is the younger brother of Arsenal defender Kolo Toure. He has won 17 caps and was a member of Ivory Coast's World Cup team.
A Monaco spokesman also confirmed that former Greece midfielder Vassilios Zikos has moved back to AEK Athens on a free transfer.
The 32-year-old Zicos joined Monaco from AEK in 2002 and helped them reach the Champions League final in 2004.
