Lyon's rivals all expect six titles in a row

PARIS, Aug 3 (Reuters) - Every Ligue 1 coach except Gerard Houllier expects his Olympique Lyon team to win an unprecedented sixth consecutive league title this season.

Houllier, who took over from Paul Le Guen as Lyon coach last year, declined to name a team in a survey by French sports daily L'Equipe on Thursday.

'They are stronger than last year,' RC Lens coach Francis Gillot told the paper.

'They are the best everywhere on the field,' added AJ Auxerre's Jean Fernandez.

Lyon, who will try to break their own record of five straight championships, start the defence of their title at Nantes on Friday in the season opener.
