Robben limps out of training with twisted ankle

Arjen Robben gave Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho a scare today when he hobbled out of training with what looked like a twisted ankle.

The Premiership champions are putting the finishing touches to their fitness schedule in Los Angeles before travelling to Chicago for the second and last leg of their American tour tomorrow.

They face the Major League Soccer All Stars on Saturday but the sight of Robben limping out of the session was a concern.

The Dutch international did not stop for reporters as he hobbled away from the training fields early.

But Mourinho played down the situation.

Chelsea play Feyenoord and Celtic next week but the Portuguese boss said: 'We are not happy with it - but it doesn't look much.'

Team-mate Joe Cole also allayed fears over the winger, adding: 'He seemed to twist to his ankle but it doesn't appear to be too serious.'
