Priske moves from Portsmouth to Club Bruges

BRUSSELS, July 25 (Reuters) - Club Bruges have completed the signing of Danish international defender Brian Priske from Portsmouth, the Belgian first division club said on Tuesday.

'Brian has signed a contract until 2010 after impressing in training during the last week,' they said in a statement.

The 29-year-old returns to Belgium one year after joining the English Premier League club from Racing Genk. Despite making 33 appearances last season, Priske was unable to resolve his differences with Portsmouth manager Harry Redknapp.

Capped 21 times by his country, Priske joined Genk in 2003 after five seasons with Aalborg in the Danish first division.

Priske did not sign in time to play in Bruges' opening league match against Ghent on Friday but is expected to start the second against Roeselare a week later.
