Osasuna striker Webo goes down with malaria
MADRID, July 12 (Reuters) - Osasuna's Cameroon international Pierre Webo will remain in hospital for about 10 days and miss the start of the season after contracting malaria.
'This morning it was confirmed that the player has malaria and will not be able to begin training for another three to four weeks,' the Primera Liga club said on its website on Wednesday.
The malaria was caused by an insect bite while he was in Cameroon in June.
Osasuna have qualified for the third qualifying round of the Champions League after finishing fourth last season.
