Reading have had a £350,000 bid for Brentford defender Sam Sodje accepted.
The fee could eventually rise to £500,000, depending on appearances, for the 27-year-old centre-back, who will join the Premiership newcomers if he passes a medical and agrees personal terms.
Sodje, a Nigerian international, made 100 appearances for Brentford after joining from non-league Margate two years ago. He was a key figure in the Bees team that reached the League One play-off semi-finals in each of the last two seasons.
Meanwhile South Korea international Seol Ki-Hyeon is convinced the Royals are 'going places' after joining from Wolves.
The 27-year-old winger or striker has signed a three-year deal after a fee that could rise to £1.5million depending on appearances was agreed with the Championship club.
Seol was unveiled by his new club this morning, and he said: 'I am very excited about this move. Reading had a great season last year and they are a club going places.
'I have no doubt this is the right move for me.'
