Chelsea striker Hernan Crespo admits he would welcome a move back to AC Milan from Stamford Bridge.
The 30-year-old Argentina international, who spent the 2004-05 season on loan at the San Siro, wants to return to Serie A for family reasons.
Andriy Shevchenko is poised to join the Premiership champions from Milan and his wife's willingness to move to London has been reported as a factor in the transfer.
'Sheva has chosen to join Chelsea for the sake of his family,' Crespo said in the Daily Star. 'He has done the right thing, as your family comes above anything else.
'I want to return to Italy for the sake of my family but the ugly situation Italian football finds itself in - the match-fixing scandal involving Juventus - has not helped the transfer market.
'However, I would rush back to play for Milan once again.'
