Secco takes over Juve business affairs

MILAN, May 23 (Reuters) - Italian champions Juventus, battered by a probe into match-fixing allegations, have appointed Alessio Secco as head of sporting activities to work with coach Fabio Capello.

The Serie A club, whose entire board resigned earlier this month over the allegations, said in a statement on Tuesday that the move was inspired by 'an innovative vision'.

Secco was team manager and press officer for Juventus previously.

The club is now steered by Carlo Sant'Albano, the head of its biggest shareholder Ifil, who took on the chief executive role last week.

Juve's former general manager Luciano Moggi is also under investigation on suspicion of false accounting relating to transfer dealings.

Moggi has denied any wrongdoing.
