Randers FC end trophy drought in Danish Cup

STOCKHOLM, May 11 (Reuters) - First division Randers FC beat Superleague side Esbjerg 1-0 in extra time on Thursday to win the Danish Cup and clinch their first title in over 30 years.

Karsten Johansen edged the ball past Lars Winde from close range in the 115th minute to settle the match.

Randers lead the Danish first division with six games to go. Esbjerg are sixth in the Superleague with one round left, 31 points behind FC Copenhagen who secured their fifth championship title last weekend.
