BERLIN, May 1 (Reuters) - Kaiserslautern will field a youthful team in their relegation battle at Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday with seven of their starting side aged 19 or younger, the club said on Monday.
Kaiserslautern trainer Wolfgang Wolf has promoted two teenagers from the regional league team, Marcel Ziemer and Steffen Bohl, to fill in for the suspended Mihael Mikic and Balazs Borbely.
Jan-Inge Hoiland and Ferydoon Zandi are also out with injuries. Kaiserslautern has relied on young players for many of their recent matches.
Kaiserslautern are 16th with 30 points and need a win at Frankfurt to raise their hopes of escaping the drop.
