ROTTERDAM, Netherlands, April 23 (Reuters) - Ajax Amsterdambeat Feyenoord 4-2 in the second leg of a Dutch leaguesemi-final playoff on Sunday, securing a 7-2 aggregate win.
The winner of the post-season playoffs, involving the teamswho finished second down to fifth, secures a Champions Leaguethird qualifying round ticket.
Ajax will play the winner of the match between AZ Alkmaarand Groningen, who play later, in the final. Groningen won thefirst leg 3-1.
Trailing 3-0 from the first leg on Thursday, Feyenoordstarted brightly and created two chances in the first 10 minutesbut it was Ajax who went ahead 12 minutes before the intervalwhen Mauro Rosales scored. Six minutes later Klaas Jan Huntelaardoubled the lead.
Salomon Kalou just failed to pull one back for Feyenoordwhen he hit the post from close range.
Nourdin Boukhari added a third early in the second half forAjax before Dirk Kuijt pulled one back. Nicolea Mitea scoredAjax's fourth on the counter-attack before Kuijt got his second.
