PSV held by Feyenoord as Ajax win too

EINDHOVEN, Netherlands, April 12 (Reuters) - Three days after they clinched their 19th title PSV Eindhoven were held to a 1-1 draw by Feyenoord in the Dutch first division on Wednesday.

In a lifeless match, Romeo Castelen opened the scoring for Feyenoord five minutes into the second half when he struck after an impressive 50-metre run.

PSV captain Philip Cocu equalised 15 minutes later with a close range header after goalkeeper Sherif Ekramy blocked a header by Alex.

PSV are top with 81 points and one match remaining, 10 points above AZ Alkmaar, who draw 0-0 against Twente Enschede. Feyenoord are third with 68.

Ajax struck twice in the final two minutes to beat Vitesse Arnhem 2-1 and climb to fourth with 57 points.

Youssouf Hersi opened the scoring for the visitors after 62 minutes but one minute before time Klaas-Jan Huntelaar equalised with his 31st goal this season.

Three minutes into stoppage time Greek striker Angelos Haristeas sealed the win for Ajax.

Utrecht slipped to fifth after a 2-1 defeat at Groningen. Both teams have 55 points.

Koen van der Laak and Rasmus Lindgren handed Groningen a two-goal lead early in the second half and Tom Caluwe pulled one back 16 minutes before time.

The teams finishing second to fifth will take part in a post-season playoff for a Champions League third qualifying round spot and two UEFA Cup tickets.

NAC Breda dropped a two-goal lead at Heracles Almelo to lose 4-2 and slip to 16th, a relegation playoff spot, with 33 points.

ADO Den Haag beat relegated RBC Roosendaal 2-1, while Sparta Rotterdam defeated RKC Waalwijk 3-2.

ADO are 14th with 35 points and will host Sparta, 15th with 34, on Sunday.

NAC will host neighbours PSV.
