Wigan boss Paul Jewell will not face any formal disciplinary action by the Football Association, despite describing referee Phil Dowd as 'incompetent'.
Jewell was seething at Dowd's performance in Wigan's 1-1 Premiership draw against Blackburn at Ewood Park on April 3.
Dowd disallowed what appeared to be two valid goals - one for either side - before incensing Jewell with his decision over Rovers' late equaliser.
Goalkeeper John Filan was barged off the ball by Blackburn defender Lucas Neill, allowing Shefki Kuqi to haul Rovers level.
After the game Jewell slammed Dowd's decisions as 'nonsensical' and claimed his team had been 'robbed' of three points by the official.
However, the League Managers' Association quickly supported Jewell - and although requested by the FA to explain his comments, he has been let off with a warning by Soho Square chiefs.
