Alkmaar fight back to beat Breda in five-goal thriller
AMSTERDAM, April 4 (Reuters) - AZ Alkmaar twice fought back from a goal down to beat struggling NAC Breda 3-2 on Tuesday and postpone PSV Eindhoven's Dutch title celebrations for five days.
PSV are top with 79 points with three matches remaining, while Alkmaar are second with 70 points. PSV host Groningen on Sunday and need just a draw to lift the trophy, while Alkmaar travel to Ajax Amsterdam.
NAC took the lead eight minutes into the second half with Arne Slot on target but a minute later Danny Koevermans levelled the scores with a close range header.
On the hour Brazilian Leonardo restored the lead for NAC, who remain 15th, two points above the relegation zone.
Koevermans equalised again after 66 minutes and Shota Arveladze grabbed the winner four minutes later to turn the tide for Alkmaar.
