AMSTERDAM, April 2 (Reuters) - A late strike by Edrissa Sonko sealed a stunning 2-1 win for Roda JC Kerkrade over Ajax Amsterdam in the Dutch first division on Sunday.
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar headed home the opening goal for Ajax after 17 minutes but nine minutes later an own goal by Olaf Lindenbergh levelled the score.
Ajax were reduced to 10 men 12 minutes before time when Juanfran received a red card for kicking.
With three matches remaining PSV Eindhoven, who sealed the relegation of RBC Roosendaal with a 2-1 win on Saturday, are top with 79 points and one point away from their 19th title.
Alkmaar are second on 67 but will not be in action this weekend. Their tie against NAC Breda was postponed due to heavy rain. Ajax are fifth on 51 points while Roda have climbed to ninth with 43.
