England will play their their first two home qualifiers for Euro 2008 at Old Trafford, the Football Association have confirmed.
The matches against Andorra on September 2 and Macedonia on October 7 will be staged at Manchester United's home ground, where the capacity will have risen to 76,000.
Yesterday's announcement that the new Wembley Stadium will not open until 2007 left the FA requiring a suitable venue for the early qualifiers and the friendly international against as yet undetermined opponents on August 16.
That too will be played at Old Trafford, while the Community Shield is to be played at the Millennium Stadium on August 13.
