Johnson heading towards Baggies exit
West Brom midfielder Andy Johnson is poised to follow Darren Moore out of The Hawthorns before the transfer window closes on Tuesday.
Moore ended a four-year association with the Baggies after joining Derby in a £500,000 deal today.
Johnson has also had few first team opportunities during the current campaign and has spoken with several clubs, including his hometown Bristol Rovers.
The former Wales international, who moved to Albion from Nottingham Forest for £200,000 in 2001, has made 138 appearances for the club.
But the 31-year-old has not figured in the first team since the Premiership match with Charlton in September.
Johnson's agent Gary Porter confirmed: 'We are talking to a number of clubs. Bristol Rovers are one of them and they are obviously a big draw for Andy because he supported them as a young lad.
'There are other clubs in the equation and Andy is deciding what will be his best move, although he may still decide to remain with Albion.'
Johnson has slipped down the pecking order since the summer signing of Darren Carter and Diomansy Kamara and the emergence of Junichi Inamoto.
