MADRID, Jan 13 (Reuters) - Cameroon will allow Osasuna striker Pierre Webo to leave their African Nations Cup training camp to play in Saturday's league match against Valencia.
Webo joined the Cameroon squad on Monday to prepare for the tournament that begins in Egypt on Jan. 20. Osasuna said on Friday he had been given permission to fly to Valencia for the league match and then rejoin the national squad.
Osasuna, second in the Primera Liga four points behind Barcelona, will be without injured forwards Savo Milosevic and Valdo against Valencia.
'Osasuna would like to thank the Cameroon Football Federation and their coach Artur Jorge for their co-operation in allowing Pierre Webo to play against Valencia,' the club said on their website.
This week Osasuna coach Javier Aguirre had complained that Barcelona were allowed to delay the departure of their Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o so he could play against Athletic Bilbao whereas Osasuna had to do without Webo.
