Arsenal chairman Peter Hill-Wood has revealed contract talks with Thierry Henry will start 'very soon'.
The French superstar appeared to pledge his loyalty to the club at the weekend amid speculation he could join Barcelona, and it is now down to the Gunners board to come up with a deal good enough to convince him to stay.
Hill-Wood told The Independent: 'Now Thierry has made his mind up about the future there is no point hanging around.
'Talks will start soon - very soon. He is 28 and is in tremendous shape, so a five-year deal would not be out of the question.
'We know Thierry could earn more elsewhere but we'll go to the limit where his salary is concerned. But he is very loyal.'
