BEIJING, Jan 6 (Reuters) - France will host China in an international friendly just two days before the 2006 World Cup kicks off in Germany, China's Xinhua news agency said on Friday.
France had already arranged friendlies against Mexico in Paris on May 27 and Denmark in Lens four days later with China now providing the opposition for their final warm-up match on June 7.
The report did not specify where the match would be played.
France, who won the World Cup on home soil in 1998, will face Switzerland, South Korea and Togo in Group G at the finals. Their first match is against the Swiss on June 13.
China failed to qualify for the finals in Germany.
