Ryan Sessegnon staying at Fulham amid Man United, Spurs links

Ryan Sessegnon's form for Fulham has caught the eye of Premier League sides.

Manchester United and Tottenham target Ryan Sessegnon will not be sold by Fulham this month, the Championship club's vice-chairman has told the Telegraph.

Tony Khan, who is also Fulham's director of football operations says 17-year-old, whose twin brother Steven is also at the club and highly rated, will not be allowed to leave Craven Cottage during the January transfer window.

"As it's been the subject of a great deal of speculation, I'd like to announce that Ryan Sessegnon is staying with Fulham Football Club and will not be departing during this January transfer window," Khan said.

"Ryan is a very important part of the Fulham family, and we're grateful that he'll be with us as we fight to achieve promotion this season."

Sessegnon, an England under-21 international, has scored seven goals and added four assists in 26 appearances in the Championship this term, despite primarily playing at left-back.

Both brothers signed new contracts in June that will have two years to run by the summer. Spurs, United, Real Madrid and Liverpool have been linked with a move for Ryan, with Fulham manager Slavisa Jokanovic saying last month that his future is "not in my control."

Fulham are 10th in the Championship and four points off the playoff places, having lost to Reading in the playoff semifinal last season.

Fulham were relegated from the Premier League in 2013-14, the year after Kahn's father, the billionaire Shahid, bought the club.
