Ajax's Davinson Sanchez set for Tottenham medical - source

Paolo Bandini and the FC crew react to Tottenham's signing of Davinson Sanchez and discuss the options he gives Pochettino.

Ajax centre-back Davinson Sanchez is to undergo his Tottenham Hotspur medical on Tuesday, a source has confirmed to ESPN FC.

Ajax confirmed last week that Spurs have agreed a fee of €40 million (£36.6m), which could rise to €42m (£38.4m) with add-ons, for the Colombia international.

Sanchez, who can operate at right-back, also requires a work permit but is set to become Tottenham's first signing of the summer.

His arrival represents a boost for Tottenham, who lost right-back Kyle Walker to Manchester City earlier in the summer and are now set for talks with left-back Danny Rose over his future

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino said on Friday that he wants to make four additions.
