Sevilla sign centre-back Simon Kjaer from Fenerbahce
Danish defender Simon Kjaer has signed a four-year contract with Sevilla.
The 28-year-old former Wolfsburg and Lille centre-back underwent a medical with the La Liga club on Wednesday and has now left Fenerbahce to move to Spain.
A statement published on Sevilla's official website said Kjaer -- a Denmark international -- would take part in training with his new teammates on Thursday.
Sevilla have been busy in the transfer market this summer, with new head coach Eduardo Berizzo signing the likes of Nolito and Jesus Navas from Manchester City.
Colombian striker Luis Muriel, French defender Sebastien Corchia and the former Inter Milan midfielder Ever Banega have also joined the club in the transfer window.
