PSV Eindhoven's Andres Guardado set for LAFC move - sources

PSV Eindhoven's Mexico international midfielder Andres Guardado has agreed a four-year deal to join Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC, sources have told ESPN's John Sutcliffe.

Expansion franchise LAFC is reportedly seeking to sign star names in time for their MLS debut in 2018.

It has shortlisted 10 potential recruits who could seal agreements during this summer's transfer window.

Sources told ESPN the club is interested in Guardado because of his success in Europe and the appeal of the Mexico national team.

He joined Eindhoven from Valencia after a loan spell in 2014 and is reported to have one year remaining of a three-year deal.

Guardado is currently in Russia with Mexico for the Confederations Cup.
